Today I get the privilege of sharing the sports journey of TLU softball player Linzee Leal. In this video we get to know her daily activities, tough moments and where she draws her strength from. Leal shares many valuable lessons for athletes but also for life as well. I hope her story motivates you to keep pursuing excellence in what you do and to keep going.

Linzee Leal is from Corpus Christi and went to Mary Carroll High School. She began her journey at TLU in 2021 and is majoring in Kinesiology. Leal plays short stop and bats for the bulldogs with this seasons record of 37-1. Throughout her career she has earned many accolades but some of her most notable awards were winning the “Rawlings Golden Glove” with teammate Annie Kay and this year earning sixth in program history of stolen bases. As this is her last go around for the bulldogs she intends to make every moment count heading into the SCAC Tournament.
